The first half of the game was better for Stelmet. Especially the second quarter was very successful for them and for Christian Eyenga, who was doing everything on the court. He was blocking shots, making three-pointers and even finishing alley-oops. The former Cleveland Cavaliers player had 17 points only in the first half!
In the third quarter the team from Zielona Góra was winnig even by 15 points after five points in a row by Aaron Cel. But then something stopped in Stelmet. Trefl had a 10:0 run and needed only five points in the las part of the game to draw. They had seven points in a row and after Michał Michalak’ shot they were up by two. Later Sarunas Vasiliauskas was on fire - he had a couple of threes.
The key shots were made by Adam Waczyński in the last minutes. Trefl won the Polish Supercup for the second time in a row. Last year they’ve beat Asseco Prokom Gdynia.
Sarunas Vasiliauskas was named the MVP of the game, scoring 20 points. Christian Eyenga was the best scorer for Stelmet – he had 29 points.
