Trybański returns to Poland

Cezary Trybański, the first Pole in the NBA, returns to Poland. He will play in Polpharma Starogard Gdański. The club also announced the extension of contracts with Michael Hicks and Kacper Radwański.

Trybański left Poland in 2002 and was the first Pole to have the opportunity to play in the best league in the world, the NBA. He played in Memphis Grizzlies, Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks played a total of 22 games. He was also a member of Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors teams.

He later played in the American D-League, the Greek Peristeri and Ostrava, Czech Republic. Last season he played in Lithuanian second division team Dzukija Alytus. There he gained an average of 12.6 points, 9.7 rebounds and 3.1 block per game.
