Piątek w play-off: AZS ogrywa mistrza

AZS Koszalin wygrał z Asseco Prokomem Gdynia 86:81 w trzecim spotkaniu ćwierćfinału play-off Tauron Basket Ligi. Najlepszym zawodnikiem meczu był Igor Milicić, który rzucił 25 punktów. Czwarte spotkanie tej pary już w niedzielę. W innym meczu Energa Czarni Słupsk pokonali Zastal Zielona Góra 79:70 i objęli prowadzenie w serii do trzech zwycięstw. Stanley Burrell zdobył dla gospodarzy 18 punktów i 10 asyst.

AZS Koszalin finally won with Asseco Prokom. This time the players coached by Andrej Urlep again were better in the first half, but this time they managed to have the advantage all the way to the end of the game. AZS won the first quarter 24:16 and it was the key to victory. Their guard and captain, Igor Milicić, played a great game, scoring 25 points. The team from Koszalin was great in long distance shooting and had only five turnovers. They also managed to stop one of the leaders from Gdynia – Donatas Motiejunas. Jerel Blassingame was the best player in Asseco Prokom with 24 points.

Energa Czarni Słupsk from the beginning of the game were a better team than Zastal. Later on the guest got an advantage, but the team from Słupsk controlled the situation. In the third quarter, after Zbigniew Białek’ shot it was 48:38 for the hosts. But the key moment was Stanley Burrells shot two minutes to the end. Walter Hodge played one of the weakest games this season, scoring only nine points. Energa Czarni played unselfish and had advantage in rebounds.
