Anwil Włocławek did not start the season well, losing to ŁKS in Łódź. But after that, they won games with Trefl Sopot and Energa Czarni Słupsk - one of the best teams in Tauron Basket Liga. Anwil was winning almost from the beginning of the game and after a three-pointer made by Dardan Berisha the score was 21:8 for the guests. In the second and third quarter Energa Czarni played better defence and managed to get close to Anwil. The team from Włocławek returned to their shooting efficiency in the last part of the game. Anwil was shooting three-pointers better. Energa Czarni on the other hand were struggling from the free throw line.
The best player on the court was Corsley Edwards from Anwil, who had 19 points and 8 rebounds. Darnell Hinson shot 25 points for Energa Czarni.
