Energa Czarni - Trefl (2:0): Brąz dla Słupska!

Koszykarze Energi Czarnych Słupsk po raz drugi w historii zdobyli brązowy medal mistrzostw Polski! Po dramatycznym i emocjonującym spotkaniu drugi raz pokonali Trefl Sopot, tym razem zaledwie jednym punktem - 72:71.

Energa Czarni gained a high advantage in the first quarter, when they were very effective and were winning 35:20. Later Trefl was playing better and won the rest of the quarters. In the third part of the game the team from Sopot after Filip Dylewicz’ three-pointers got close to Energa Czarni and was losing fewer than 10 points. This shots gave hope to Trefl and changed their game.

Trefl had many chances to be on top, but they did not make it. In the last quarter after Zbigniew Białek’ and Krzysztof Roszyk’ shots Energa Czarni again gained 10 points advantage. 25 seconds to the end of the game Paweł Kikowski could not hit a three, when Energa Czarni were winning only by a point (72:71). Zbigniew Białek struggled on the free throw line in the next action. Trefl had their last chance to win with nine seconds to go. Unfortunately, Lorinza Harrington could not shoot a lay-up after an individual action.

Krzysztof Roszyk was Energa Czarni’ most effective player with 14 points. Jerel Blassingame also played great, having 11 points and eight assists. The best player in Trefl team was Lawrence Kinnard, who had 18 points and 11 rebounds.
