Ćwierćfinały 4: Anwil odpadł u siebie!

Trefl Sopot wygrał drugi raz - i to znów po dogrywce - we Włocławku, eliminując Anwil z walki o mistrzostwo Tauron Basket Ligi. W półfinale są też już Asseco Prokom Gdynia i Energa Czarni Słupsk. PBG Basket Poznań doprowadził do piątego, sobotniego meczu z PGE Turowem Zgorzelec.

Anwil Włocławek is Polish Champion from 2003 and since 1992, when they debuted in top division in Poland, they missed semifinals only four times. Fourth time is now, as they lost to Trefl twice at home in overtimes after winning game 2 in Sopot.

Best player on the floor was Filip Dylewicz who scored career-high 30 points. But the most important shot of the night was taken by Giedrius Gustas who forced overtime with the 4-meter jumper at the buzzer after Bartosz Diduszko three put Anwil ahead by two just one second from the end of regulation.

In the overtime it was Trefl only and Filip Dylewicz displayed variety of moves to cap the great performance.

In semifinals Trefl will meet the winner of PGE Turów Zgorzelec - PBG Basket Poznań series, which was extended on Wednesday because of great defensive performance by Poznań' side. They let PGE Turów score only 16 points in the first half.

Asseco Prokom Gdynia and Energa Czarni Słupsk also made it to the semis, after relatively easy wins on Wednesday. They will open the best-of-seven semifinals series on Tuesday April 12th in Gdynia.
