Polpharma had problems with Anwil’s Paul Miller at the beginning of the game, but then Tomasz Cielebąk proved his good shooting abilities. At the end of the second quarter the team from Starogard was winning 45:32. After that Anwil tried to show their ambition and played better. Two times in the last quarter after Łukasz Majewski’s shots the team from Włocławek succeded to tie the game. Polpharma in the last minutes proved that they were a better team that day. Michael Hicks shot the key three-pointer (his only in this game) and Anwil lost for the sixth time in their last eight games.
The best player of the game was Brian Gilmore who had 16 points, which is his best score this season. Tomasz Cielebąk also played well, having 100% shooting efficiency (13 points). The best player in the Anwil team was Łukasz Majewski, who had 14 points and five rebounds.
